One evening, over a simple dinner conversation, everything changed. My brother and I, fresh out of university, sat with our father, Chachee, discussing our future. Should we join the family business, enter the corporate world, or chase our entrepreneurial dreams?
Then our father shared something we hadn’t known—a dream he’d nurtured since the late 1980s: to open his own chai cafe. Seeing the passion in his eyes sparked something in us. We realized that this was our path.
In that moment, we committed to making his dream a reality. Chachee’s Chai Cafe was born, not just as a business, but as a tribute to our father’s long-held dream. Every cup of chai we serve honours his legacy and the love, passion and kindness that inspired it all.
